DREXEL UNIVERSITY ONLINE PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAMS

Provides a strong foundation in all disciplines of public health, with a particular focus on public health practice. The curriculum of this flexible, hybrid program is designed for working professionals who are currently employed in public health or a related field and looking to expand their leadership career opportunities, or those with a newfound interest in public health.

Focuses on fundamental content in infectious disease, epidemiology and surveillance, and patient safety. Designed for those with a strong background in biology, health sciences, and/or professional experience working clinically in healthcare settings.

Emphasizes the complex medical and ethical considerations involved in the study of LGBT health and examines how sexual identities impact health and the subsequent treatment received. Learn to critique the research, sampling, and measurement methodologies used to investigate LGBT health and its corresponding disparities.

Provides the knowledge and skills needed to effectively promote the health and well-being of women, mothers, infants, children, adolescents, and families in local, domestic, and global settings. Focuses on the key competencies outlined by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) in eight domains: Evidence-Based Approaches to Public Health, Public Health & Health Care Systems, Planning & Management to Promote Health, Policy in Public Health Leadership, Communication, Interprofessional Practice, and Systems Thinking.
