Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner    

This accredited online program prepares students to perform medical diagnosis and treatment through didactic lectures, problem-based learning, clinical practice hours, standardized patient experiences and high-fidelity simulation. The program coincides with the new models of health care delivery and the increasing demand for adult-geriatric nurse practitioners.

Graduates of this program are eligible for Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification through ANCC or AACN.

Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner   

Designed to train nurse practitioners in the management of acute and critically ill patients with complex chronic medical conditions, and provides the knowledge and skills needed to meet the specialized needs of this patient base.
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification through ANCC or AACN.

Emergency Nurse Practitioner (Post-Master’s Certificate )     

The Drexel University online Emergency Nurse Practitioner post-masters certificate is designed for family and adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioners who work in an emergency care setting or desire to make a change.
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible for AANPCP Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification.

Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner    

Our program prepares nurses to take advanced roles as clinicians, educators, researchers, and leaders in the constantly evolving health care environment.  Nurse practitioners specializing in pediatric primary care will be able to meet the demanding physiological and social needs of patients from infancy through adolescence.
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible for Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification through ANCC or PNCB.

Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner    

This program's curriculum emphasizes evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the critical use of new technology, while preparing nurses to practice in an inpatient and outpatient acute or specialty clinical setting.  Students will become experts in delivering care to infants, children, and adolescents with acute, critical and complex health conditions.
Graduates of this program are eligible for the Acute Care Pediatric exam offered by the PNCB.

Pediatric Primary Care and Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Dual Option)    

This degree prepares nurses for advanced roles as clinicians, educators, researchers, and leaders in pediatric health and wellness. Nurse practitioners specializing in pediatric primary and acute care will be able to meet the health care needs required by children and families with acute, complex care with a promotion of optimal wellness. 
Graduates of the dual option program are eligible for the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification exam through ANCC or PNCB. The Acute Care Pediatric Certification exam is offered through the PNCB.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner    

Designed to prepare nurses to provide a wide range of mental health services across the lifespan through a bio-psychosocial model of care. You'll learn collaborative skills to work with other health care professionals to provide mental health care services in all settings.
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible for Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification through ANCC.

Women’s Health/Gender Related Nurse Practitioner     

Gain the skills necessary to provide advanced care to women and their partners throughout the lifespan with a specialized emphasis on reproductive and gynecologic health needs. The program was designed to embrace the competencies and skill sets required for today's versatile nurse practitioner as medical knowledge expands, health care systems evolve and technology advances in response to health care needs and evidence-based research. 
Graduates of the program will be eligible for Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Certification through the National Certification Corporation (NCC).

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)    

Designed for nurses seeking a terminal degree in nursing practice and offers an alternative to research-focused doctoral programs. The program includes an Advanced Practice Track for nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, nurse midwives, and nurse anesthetists who want a leadership career in clinical practice to improve patient outcomes post-graduation.

Family Nurse Practitioner (Individual Across the Lifespan)     

The coursework for this program is designed to introduce the Nurse Practitioner student to primary care of the family and/or individual across the lifespan from birth to death. The focus is on well  care and the management of episodic acute or chronic illnesses.
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible for Family Nurse Practitioner Certification through AANP or ANCC.

EdD in Educational Leadership and Management: Nursing Education Concentration    

Prepares registered nurses to assume faculty positions while providing a robust interdisciplinary education between Drexel's School of Education and the College of Nursing and Health Professions. Those who wish to pursue this concentration must have an RN license.

Doctor of Health Science (DHSc)    

This program prepares you to be a leader in healthcare by acquiring the skills needed to advanve as effective educators, administrators, members of research teams, and advocates for best practice.  

Family Nurse Practitioner (Individual Across the Lifespan) with Emergency Specialization    

As one of the first online programs in the nation to combine family nurse practitioner education with emergency specialization, you will learn to apply advanced-practice nursing knowledge—including physical, psychosocial, and environmental assessment skills—to manage common health problems of clients of all ages and their families in primary and emergency care settings.
Upon completion of the program, you will become eligible to sit for both the Family Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam through AANP or ANCC and the Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam through the AANP.
