HOW TO APPLY TO BECOME AN MFA COMPOSITION TA


2. Send the following to Nomi Eve, Program Director, at nae28@drexel.edu
  • Application letter explaining your interest in the Composition TA program and how your previous experience might prepare you for it. Applicants do NOT need to have previous teaching experience.
  • One letter of recommendation addressing your suitability to teaching. 
  • A 2-5 page persuasive or informative essay or published article that demonstrates excellence in expository writing. The document must be double spaced, in MLA format, and sent as a Word or PDF file.   
3. An in-person or virtual interview will be requested once all materials are received. 

The Composition TA program is competitive and space is limited. The TA application cut off date is May 15, but the cohort may be full by then, so please apply early for best consideration.
